We are looking to support projects which mark and build on the legacy of Abolition, and meet one of the aims of Awards for All.

  • Bringing people together
  • Increasing involvement.
  • Improve quality of life
  • Helping groups to become better organised

This exciting, one-off event will give your organisation the chance to publicise your commemoration activities to a large national audience.  We have up to £200,000 to award through a fast-track application process, where groups can walk away with up to £10,000 for their project.

We’re looking for lots of innovative, creative projects to be put up for quick assessment and the chance to win the public vote on the day.

The event also gives groups a chance to meet other like-minded groups, as well a variety of funders and voluntary and community organisations. Case studies of successful projects will be highlighted in Big Lottery Fund publications, which promote great projects and the organisations that deliver them.

This is a unique opportunity to showcase your project to a wide and varied audience, and to form part of an important celebration. It is also an extraordinary to chance to apply for and receive a grant, all in one day!
