ACCESSKEYS

Accesskeys are keyboard shortcuts for navigating around websites.

PC users: hold down Alt + [relevant accesskey – see below] + Return.
Mac users: hold down Ctrl + [relevant accesskey – see below].

You can use accesskey shortcuts to get to the following main pages:

  • k = skip navigation
  • l = Awards for All
  • r = news
  • 1 = home
  • 7 = copyright
  • 8 = privacy policy
  • 9 = contact us
  • 0 = accessibility

Have our website read out loud to you

If you have difficulty reading the words on our website you can listen them instead.

You can get software called Browsealoud which will read aloud the text on our website. It is free to download and install on your computer. Some Internet browsers have similar features built in.

Browsealoud can also be used on more than 2000 other websites in the UK and USA.

You can change Browsealoud settings by double clicking on the Browsealoud icon in the system tray at the bottom of the screen.

Browsealoud is normally controlled by moving the mouse. If you do not or cannot use a mouse, you can use mousekeys. You can then control the cursor with your numeric keypad. To do this on a PC:

1. Go to Start > Settings Control panel > Accessibility options

2. Select the "mouse" tab

3. Switch on mousekeys you will be able
